Foundations of Education Blog

As you can see, my blog is up now.

Welcome to all bloggers!

Class starts up August 29th, so get your blog sites up and going as soon as possible. Directions for setting up your sites and topics for blogging are found within the class site on the Contents Page.

FYI: BoJangles (BJ)
The little guy here thinks he is in charge at my house. He jumped right in and started blogging away as soon as this site was up before I could get an entry in edgewise.

Try not to let him get you off track, and I will try to keep him under control. Hopefully, I will be able to stop him from blogging away with commentary on your blogs. I told him the blogs are for educational topics and issues; he said he wants to blog about his experiences in obedience school...it's hard to keep his nose out of other people's business (and he's a doxie, so he has a long one), but I'll try.

See you online soon,

BJ Goes to the Dogs - Online

I had to sign on as HBIC, Dr. Young,
but it's BJ Young here-

I've been ready to do some blogging since early this morning, but I was told by the HBIC (Head Blogger In Charge), "Nooooooo, this blog site is only for 'graduate' students to blog about educational issues. It is not for 'personal' types of blogging. If you want to participate, and know anything about the topics I have set up for blogging, you may make a 'Reply Post,' but never a 'New Post,' as only I, the HBIC, make make those types of entries."

OMG! I just whined, "Oh, REALLY, is that what you think a for real blog site should be all about? LADY, GET REAL!"

Right now, I would be flaming in red font if I were not on her CONFUSING Compose Post site that allows me next to no control over entry format"! I know all of the computer passwords though, so she can't lock me out of her sites.

As she looked around for her car keys, I was lurking about in the office hoping she would not put me on lock-down in what she calls "BJ's room"; I call it something else though.

Finally, she left the house; I was still free, and I snarled out one last comment in her direction..."MYOB (Mind Your Own Blogging) prof"!

Mind mind was racing as I thought about how much time I might have for uninterrupted blogging. OK, it's Saturday, so she can't be going to work...she's probably going to see that new grand-daughter of hers where she spends all her time when she is not working. She'll probably be gone all evening. Time for me to get down to some serious TCB (Taking Care of Blogging).

I want to blog about my story, my life, and what blogging really means to me. I need to tell it like is, and has become, for a dog like me in this house, right now, living with a workaholic professor that has a 4-month old grand-daughter that is "sooooooooooo cute" (to quote HBIC) and lives too close for my comfort to us.

Here starts my story, true, uncut, personal...sometimes sad, but always fraught with meaning.
